Location was conveniently located just off the highway. The breakfast was fresh and hot with an attendant keeping it stocked and clean. The coffee was great! Usually we have to go looking for a Starbucks because most hotel coffee is bland, but this was so good we filled our thermos before heading out to BDA. Oh yeah, and we stayed on the third floor and were really impressed by the powerful water pressure in the shower!

THE KING SUITE was huge and very clean. The bathtub was lovely. The suite had a hide-a-bed, a microwave, a refrigerator, and two flat-screen TVs. This room would provide a perfect rest stop for a group of birders or a young family. This is an excellent choice if you plan to visit Bosque del Apache.

We stayed in the hotel already 3 times and it was always a nice place to be. Easy access to the nature parks in the area and the Mineral Museum in Socorro, which is a very special place. The breakfast area in the hotel is extremely clean and managed exceptionally well.

The young lady that checked us in after a long day was very friendly and immediately got our room answered questions, gave directions and helped us out. The young man working the front desk the next morning could use some training on basic. Questions like tax rate!
